painting

hi all, so after finishing all the plaster work and just a few bits of texture here and there it was time to do some
painting,which to be honest i was not very confident about as im not very good at arty type stuff and was worried it would not look very real,
so after looking at hundreds of pics of other peoples layouts had a good idea how i wanted mine to look and just hoped i could get close to it,
first i painted it all black then while it was still wet used some stone coloured over the top an basicaly just very quicly applied it and mixing here and there so we got like different shades of  like black dark grey and light grey, once its all dry i will then aply white whith almost a dry brush so it will only go on raised edges and will hilight the textured surface,

so next step is to apply the dry brush white hilight and then the grass for which im going to try the dyed sawdust,
